MEET KELLY
Kelly grew up with a good mix of rural life and semi-urban living between her parents. She took part in horse riding, surf life saving and other every day sports such as netball, basketball and touch. When not on the back of a horse she enjoyed getting out and helping on the farm.
After leaving school and trying her hand at a few different careers Kelly found herself going to study Osteopathy under the guidance of Dr Neil Patel. While attending Unitec she completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Biology) and a Masters degree of Osteopath.
WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?
Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy used to promote health, well being and optimal function.

To achieve this an assessment of structure and function is often paired with a range of hands on techniques and prescribed exercise to get you enjoying life and hopefully pain free.
Osteopaths that are registered ACC practitioners can treat ACC claims without referral, lodge new injury claims and can send you for x-rays, ultrasounds and refer to other health professionals.
acc and private treatments
You have the right to refer yourself privately for osteopathic treatment, you do not need a referral from your GP or other health professional, although these are welcomed and Kelly enjoys working collaboratively with other health practitioners.

Alternatively you may have an existing or a new injury that qualifies for ACC cover. Kelly can register new claims. If your condition does not meet ACC guideline requirements, treatment profiles, or is declined you will be required to pay for your treatment privately.

Osteopaths treat a wide range of complaints and sometimes no complaints - just to help people feel great. Some of Kelly's favourites to help with are body pain, work, leisure and sport injuries, pregnancy, postpartum and babies.

Payment is required and appreciated upon completion of the appointment. Cash and Bank Transfer are accepted. Credit is not available at this time.
